OTM vs Business Administration



The clash between OTM and Business Administration today at the lecture hall 1 was a usual thing that happens often. It has been a usual thing since the third week of resumption during the first semester and a lot of clashes like that have been recorded but this was the serious case ever which involved the CSO and the deputy rector. It is as a result of lack of hall as Business Administration students are rightfully entitled to the hall but are always deprived of the hall whenever they are receiving lectures by the likes of OTM, Marketing and Law. These rival departments have personal lecture hall and personalized department unlike Business Administration whose department has been changed to the ICT hall and thus have been assigned to the lecture hall 1 for five hours per day. But today the students are angry and therefore refused to vacate the hall for OTM students after Business Administration Mathematics lecturer left the hall angrily. The deputy rector appealed to the Business Administration students but they refused to leave the hall and in this process the CSO seized some students’ bag and there was serious anger and disappointment on the deputy rector’s face. The students are all pleading with the school authority to intervene into the matter and provide adequate and conducive environment before the matter gets out of hand because today’s event almost turn out to riot if not for the intervention of CSO and the deputy rector.

ND II ongoing examinations and Seminar on Money in the air (4000 Chinese coins)

While the ND II exams were ongoing, lectures have also kicked off as many departments have started receiving lectures while some are affected by the ongoing exams. Exams are going on very well and students are advised against every form of malpractice even as some were still caught in the act and the school has taken punishment measures on the culprit. Also there was a seminar held in the campus on Leadership and entrepreneurship, digital business, Chinese digital currency, etc anchored by a popular public speaker Emeka Asogwa, an aid to the Governor of Enugu State on youth affairs.
