JEAN CARNIVAL! WE TREK IT!!!..... TOMORROW'S AWARD NIGHT



Today was PHPOLY Jean Carnival which was celebrated with a rally round the heart of Port Harcourt city. Student came to the campus late due to yesterday’s cultural celebration which was fun and awesome. The D.O.S was able to gather the students together at about 12:00pm for the rally to kick off. There was motor van conveying the DJ, S.U.G excos, instruments, etc. The students rallied from the school towards Rumuola, through waterlines, garrison and turnaround the bridge at park to head towards UST through Ikwerre road back to Rumuokwuta, then to school. It was a very stressful trekking; don’t mind my description. Some students chartered taxi for the rally while most trekked as the fun of it is trekking and dancing. Some also went with their personal car and bike. There was an organized group of task force to control the traffic for the students and also to make the transition easy. There were also police van at the beginning and end of the road to monitor students so as to avoid violence.
It was a good one as it helped us create awareness on our school as most people don’t know the institution to be a polytechnic.
Even with the stressful day, students are still seen dancing in the school campus waiting for the Pageant Grand Finale that is holding at Cobson Park, Psychiatric road Rumuigbo.
Tomorrow will be visitation to orphanage home and award night by 4:00pm till 9:00pm.
You have till 4:00pm to rest, flex and do everything for coming for tomorrow’s program.

OLD SKOOL DAY..... AFTER PARTY

ND II ongoing examinations and Seminar on Money in the air (4000 Chinese coins)

While the ND II exams were ongoing, lectures have also kicked off as many departments have started receiving lectures while some are affected by the ongoing exams. Exams are going on very well and students are advised against every form of malpractice even as some were still caught in the act and the school has taken punishment measures on the culprit. Also there was a seminar held in the campus on Leadership and entrepreneurship, digital business, Chinese digital currency, etc anchored by a popular public speaker Emeka Asogwa, an aid to the Governor of Enugu State on youth affairs. The program was announced in each department that it will be held in the school lecture hall 2 but was later held in Hall B4 as a result of an ongoing exam in the proposed hall.
