STUDENT WEEK FIRST DAY LIKE AWESOME....... NEXT? OLD SCHOOL DAY

It was much fun today as the S.U.G week kicked off with the sports day, which was definitely an absolute fun day for all Port Harcourt Polytechnic students. There were different categories of sport such as football, tennis, long jump, high jump, race, etc. The football which was the eye catching part of all the sports as indigenes contested against non-indigenes. Access bank was also on campus with their DJ slamming songs for students to compete against themselves in order to win amazing prizes such as umbrella, stirring cup (automatic), bottle, pen, key holder, etc. During these account were being registered for students and given instant debit card, also BVN registration was done for students holding access accounts and new account users. The Access Bank spokesperson said they will be on campus all through the SUG week to continue with their program except the Rag day and Cultural day. After much fun and enjoyment, a welcome party was held in the conference hall as planned but started late at about 4:00pm which ended by 6:00pm due to the weather and was scheduled to continue tomorrow which is the Old School day.  
As you all know that our school authority will never allow violence in the school, there was provision for maximum security. Therefore, in case you are at home thinking there would violence in school, the only advice I have for you is DON’T MISS THE FUN!!!
In case you don’t know, tomorrow is PHPOLY Old School Day, there will be award for the best old school dress on Saturday which is the award night. Dress in any old school way you think you can.

OLD SKOOL DAY..... AFTER PARTY

The term is commonly used to suggest a high regard for something that has been shown to have lasting value or quality.   An after party would be held today in which girls get free ticket and boys pays N500 as gate fee. ND II ongoing examinations and Seminar on Money in the air (4000 Chinese coins)

While the ND II exams were ongoing, lectures have also kicked off as many departments have started receiving lectures while some are affected by the ongoing exams. Exams are going on very well and students are advised against every form of malpractice even as some were still caught in the act and the school has taken punishment measures on the culprit. Also there was a seminar held in the campus on Leadership and entrepreneurship, digital business, Chinese digital currency, etc anchored by a popular public speaker Emeka Asogwa, an aid to the Governor of Enugu State on youth affairs. The program was announced in each department that it will be held in the school lecture hall 2 but was later held in Hall B4 as a result of an ongoing exam in the proposed hall.
